$DASH began trading on NYSE, but the online ordering have been going on for some time. The company has the largest food delivery market share in the United States. At one point in 2019, it surpassed GrubHub in market share of food delivery through online. The grocery company started in 2013. Programs like DashMart in online convenience store are taking place. As DoorDash moved into suburbs more, it has increased its share in food deliveries through online purchases. In some cities, it is leading too. For example, in Houston and in San Francisco it has the largest share of food deliveries made through online purchase. The company has more than 5 million subscribers.
